Two weeks later in Brno, Johann Zarco (Esponsorama Racing) claimed a podium with his Ducati, despite having been forced to observe a Long Lap Penalty.

Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) tasted the joys of his first Top 3.

And Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) did even better by securing a very first victory in just his third start in the big leagues, the first also at this level for a South African ... and KTM!

Styrian GP
And speaking of maiden winners, another name was added to that list in Styria, Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Tech3). It ended a 20-year wait for Hervé Poncharal and his team, sparking jubilant scenes in the box.

GP of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera
Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Racing) finished second in this event. It was a career best finish for the Italian!
