Savadori undergoes successful surgery

The Italian will start with his recovery immediately after his Turn 3 crash in Styria

Aprilia Racing Team Gresini’s Lorenzo Savadori underwent successful surgery on Monday afternoon at the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Parma, after his Turn 3 crash in Styria that involved the Italian colliding with Dani Pedrosa’s stricken Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine.

 

The procedure was performed by Prof. Francesco Pogliacomi with Doctors Luca Guardoli and Emanuele Ciccarone, members of the Team directed by Prof. Enrico Vaienti, with the support of Doc. Michele Zasa, Clinica Mobile Sanitary Director.

The surgery was perfectly successful and the rider will start the recovery straight away, in order to return to racing as soon as possible.
