Lusail International Circuit will have a new look when it plays host to the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix from 17th-19th November, with the circuit facilities and paddock welcoming MotoGP™ back after some extensive remodelling. The track layout remains the same, so we can expect the racing to be as close and adrenaline-fuelled as ever, but there’s a whole lot more to the world-leading facility. Let’s take a look!

A whole new fan experience
From arriving at the track to taking your seat, the fan experience is now better than ever. New road infrastructure and entry points facilitate better public access, and once fans are in there are incredible places to enjoy the world’s most exciting motorsport. Renovations to the permanent grandstands, including increased capacity, create a whole new experience for fans watching trackside, and there’s a new, larger fanzone too. There are also new VIP areas and facilities for up to 5,000 guests to enjoy a truly top-class experience!
Modernisation of a unique circuit
There are new, state-of-the-art facilities for competitors too. For riders and participants, the track has been resurfaced and there will be larger garages for teams. The extensive renovation of the circuit also includes a new race control with the latest technology and a new media centre with even better facilities for the media and partners on site.
Sustainable magic under the desert floodlights
The Lusail complex is one of the world's largest floodlit arenas, the equivalent of 70 FIFA football pitches! And the facility is a benchmark in terms of sustainable lighting thanks to innovative LED technology installed in 2020, pairing increased sustainability with the iconic sight of MotoGP™ racing under the floodlights.
