Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) took Free Practice honours after the title contender topped the timesheets with qualifying just around the corner at the MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) trailed his compatriot by just over a tenth of a second as he took P2 in Saturday morning's qualifying precursor. Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) then made it a Spanish top-three lockout as he finished just ahead of Championship leader Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team).
