Hot on the heels of a brilliant weekend at Mandalika, it’s Phillip Island’s turn to host the travelling MotoGP™ circus, the second of three consecutive Grands Prix. It’s always a phenomenal occasion when the World Championship goes Down Under, and here’s hoping the 2023 Australian GP is no different!
The fun kicks off on Thursday, with riders tending to their media duties. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) and Marco Bezzecchi (Monney VR46 Racing Team) preview the latest instalment of their thrilling title fight in the opening Press Conference at 17:00 local time (GMT +11).
Once the title-chasing trio have had their say, Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing), Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) preview the weekend from 17:35. Both Press Conferences will be available to watch as part of the MotoGP™ GearUP show with Jack Appleyard and Simon Crafar, and that gets underway from 16:00.
The first track action of the weekend is on Friday, with Moto3™ getting proceedings going at 09:00, followed by Moto2™ and then MotoGP™. Don't get caught out by the late change in schedule! Inclement weather conditions are forecast for Sunday which has resulted in the Grand Prix being moved to Saturday's billing.
