Having withdrawn from the Thai GP and undergone surgery, Alex Rins has taken to social media to share a positive surgery update. The LCR Honda rider is once again on the road to recovery as he aims to put his injury struggles firmly behind him, but it seems he has taken a big step in the right direction.

“Surgery went well! We keep on working,” Rins told fans via his social media channels. With his focus now entirely on recuperation, the timeline for his return to MotoGP™ action remains uncertain.
The #42 has endured an injury-ridden campaign since breaking his leg in Mugello, and despite some efforts to return in recent weeks, including competing in the entire Indonesian Grand Prix, he had to withdraw from both the Australian and Thai GPs due to persistent pain.
