Alex Rins (LCR Honda Castrol) is gearing up to participate in the Valencia GP and bring the 2023 season to a close with the team having received medical clearance.
The Spanish rider sustained a broken leg in June at the Italian GP. Despite this setback, he promptly initiated his recovery process and actively took part in the Grand Prix events in Japan, Indonesia, and Australia. Unfortunately, a subsequent complication necessitated surgery. Following a successful recovery and a return to optimal condition, he is poised to compete with LCR Honda for one final time to bring the 2023 season to a close.
The #42, a six-time MotoGP™ race winner, will move onto pasture new in 2024, having signed a deal with Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ and he should debut on the YZR-M1 in Spain during the Official Valencia Test on Tuesday.
