The 2021 MotoGP™ World Champion was handed France’s highest order of military and civil merit by President Macron

Ahead of 2024 pre-season testing kicking back into gear at the start of February, 2021 MotoGP™ World Champion Fabio Quartararo has been busy receiving a very special accolade in Paris.

The first French MotoGP™ title winner was invited to the famous Élysée Palace on Tuesday the 23rd of January, and it was there where Quartararo was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion D'Honneur by France President Emmanuel Macron.

Quartararo becomes just the third motorsport star to receive France’s highest order of military and civil merit, after nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastian Loeb and four-time Formula 1 World Champion Alain Prost.
