The Qatar GP is just around the corner, with the 2024 curtain raiser primed to take place under the lights of Lusail to kick start the 75th season of the World Championship. As the pinnacle of two-wheeled racing returns, so does MotoGP™ Fantasy, allowing fans to compete with friends, family and in the Official MotoGP™ League to win some amazing prizes!
How does MotoGP™ Fantasy work?
Players receive a budget of 15M, which they must spend wisely on two Gold Riders, two Silver Riders, a team and a constructor, with each earning points based on performance across a full Grand Prix weekend.
Strategy is, of course, important, with prices varying from each GP, though there won’t be any price changes until after the third round of action in 2024, allowing players to assess their prospects and make the necessary adjustments.

Who should I include in my team at the Qatar GP?
There is no shortage of choices to choose from at Round 1. Reigning World Champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) immediately springs to mind, but will cost a pretty penny at 3.5M. Last year’s title runner up and 2023 Qatar GP Sprint victor Jorge Martin will also take a chunk out of your budget at 3.4M, but with revenge on the mind of the Spaniard, he may just prove to be worth every cent.
2023 Qatar GP winner Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) is another tempting option at 2.3M as he looks to hit the ground running in his new surroundings after an impressive pre-season. Then, of course, there is Marc Marquez who will taste his first competitive action aboard the Desmosedici at the weekend, with the eight-time World Champion costing a tempting 3M.
Away from the Bologna bullets, Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) and Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) look best placed to challenge at the front, and they will cost you 2.4M and 3M respectively. For those of you who believe in fairytales, rookie wonder Pedro Acosta comes in at just 1.8M, which may prove an absolute bargain for the season ahead.
At 3.4M Ducati Lenovo Team are the most expensive outfit, but we feel there can be better value found. Prima Pramac Racing are the reigning Teams Champions, and they are priced at 2.8M, with Pertamina Enduro VR46 and Gresini slightly more affordable at 2.6M and 2.5M. Aprilia Racing had a strong pre-season, and they could be yours for 2.3M.
As for a constructor, it’s hard to ignore Ducati, but at 3.4M, a balancing act will be required.

As ever, there are prizes for the overall season winners and weekly winners.
