The MotoGP paddock heads to Assen for Round 10 of the season at the Motul Grand Prix of the Netherlands. It’s the second part of a thrilling double header following Mugello, with the Championship fight heating up. There are plenty of questions ahead of Round 10 as Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) looks to extend his margin at one of Francesco Bagnaia’s (Ducati Lenovo Team) favourite tracks. Meanwhile, Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing) remains in the hunt as other contenders aim to spring a surprise – here’s your schedule for this weekend.
Thursday: Hear from the stars
Assen marks Round 10 of the season with plenty to look forward to on Thursday before track action begins. The MotoGP GearUp show will get underway at 15:30 on Thursday, giving you all the latest stories from inside the paddock ahead of the Press Conference at 16:00, where Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP), Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) and Maverick Viñales (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) will take centre stage to discuss their thoughts with the media.
Track action begins on Friday
MotoE will kick off the on-track action on Friday at 08:30 (UTC +2) with their opening Practice session ahead of Practice 2 in the afternoon and qualifying at 17:00. Moto3 will head out on the circuit at 09:00 for their first session of the weekend. Moto2 will follow before the MotoGP field makes their first appearance for FP1 at 10:45, before a short break ahead of afternoon Practice, which begins with Moto3 at 13:15, soon followed by Moto2 at 14:05, before MotoGP Practice begins at 15:00!
Super Saturday’s action begins at 08:40, with Moto3 hitting the track first, followed by Moto2 for their first session of the day. MotoGP returns for FP2 at 10:10, followed by an unmissable qualifying at 10:50 – when the battle for pole commences. Following qualifying, the premier class stars will battle on track for another unpredictable Tissot Sprint at 15:00! MotoE will have two races on Saturday, the first of which follows MotoGP qualifying at 12:15 and the second at 16:10.
Race day begins on Sunday at 09:40 with MotoGP Warm Up setting the stage for three thrilling races, beginning with Moto3 at 11:00, Moto2 at 12:15, before the main event at 14:00 as MotoGP goes lights out for the Dutch GP!
