Bastianini back on top ahead of the Catalan GP

It was a crucial Warm Up at the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya with Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) ending the session quickest – giving the #23 a confidence boost on Sunday morning. Bastanini set a 1:39.505 to end Warm Up ahead of MotoGP™ rookie Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) in second, a mere 0.027s behind the factory Ducati rider. Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) took third place, and will be looking for further points later on with the #12 showing off his spectacular riding style throughout the morning. 

Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) was fourth, setting six laps in the 10 minute session and has shown some great race pace. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) rounded out the top five, a further 0.001s behind Marquez as we prepare to go racing with tension building. Further down the order, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) will be aiming for redemption on race day, ending Warm Up in 14^th position. Meanwhile, polesitter Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) was down in 22^nd position on Sunday morning, completing the session on a used medium rear tyre.
