MotoGP™ Classics: a new package has arrived on motogp.com

10 more all-time premier class classic races are ready to be relived stretching from the 1994 Czech GP to the 1999 Valencia GP

A new MotoGP™ Classics package has arrived on motogp.com with 10 all-time great races between 1994 and 1999 now ready for fans to relive.

Below is the new selection of races that are now available to VideoPass users, and if you’re not, then you can take advantage of our summer Free Trial and watch them for free between the 10th of July and 30 minutes before the British GP Tissot Sprint!

1994 CZECH GP

Mick Doohan’s victory at the legendary Brno saw the Australian clinch the first of his five consecutive 500cc World Championship titles.

1996 AUSTRALIAN GP

A last-lap clash at Eastern Creek Raceway between Repsol Honda teammates Doohan and Alex Criville handed Loris Capirossi his first victory in the premier class in the 1996 curtain closer.

1996 CZECH GP (125cc)

The first of 115 Grand Prix wins - a young Valentino Rossi secures his maiden win in Brno as the Italian wins the 1996 Czech GP 125cc battle.

1996 JAPANESE GP

Winning your first race is always special. But to win your first 500cc race on home turf is extra special, and that’s exactly what Norifumi Abe did at Suzuka in the 1996 Japanese GP.

1997 CZECH GP (125cc)

Same venue, different season, and the first of nine. At Brno in 1997, Rossi claimed his first World Championship title.

1998 AUSTRALIAN GP

At Phillip Island, Doohan beat Simon Crafar by less than a second to win what would be his final 500cc title.

1999 ARGENTINA GP (125cc)

An unforgettable Championship showdown - Emilio Alzamora and Marco Melandri went head-to-head in Argentina.

1999 BRAZIL GP (250cc)

Two years after winning his first, Rossi wrapped up his second Championship title at the '99 Brazilian GP.

1999 SPANISH GP

A home hero victory that lives long in the memory - Criville beats Biaggi to win in Jerez on his way to the '99 500cc title.

1999 VALENCIA GP

The Circuit Ricardo Tormo made its Championship debut and in the 500cc race, Regis Laconi won to act as the last Frenchman to win a premier class race until Fabio Quartararo in 2020.
