Marc Marquez signs for the factory Ducati team from 2025
Martin’s exit from the Bologna bullets paved the way for the eight-time World Champion to ascend to the Ducati Lenovo Team in 2025, where he will partner Francesco Bagnaia. It was a blockbuster announcement, which made waves across the sporting world, though it meant Enea Bastianini was now on the lookout for a new home.
Bastianini and Viñales take up Tech3 opportunity, Bezzechi moves to Aprilia
‘The Beast’ wasn’t on the lookout for long, as he was offered a seat at the rebranded Red Bull KTM Tech3, though the announcement of his future teammate came out of the blue. Maverick Viñales’ decision to trade his Aprilia RS-GP for the RC16 took many by surprise, and it meant the Noale factory had to dip back into the rider market. Their search led them to VR46’s Marco Bezzecchi, and a deal was done quickly to ensure the Italian brand will have an Italian rider in 2025.
