We've been treated to some classic battles in the first half of 2024, with MotoGP™ enjoying a season for the ages and looks set to rage on all the way to Valencia in November. So, to get you ready for the Championship climax and to fill those summer blues, we've put together the top three tussles from the first half of 2024 for you to enjoy.
AUSTIN'S ALL-OUT DOG FIGHT!
Aprilia Racing's Maverick Viñales was the red-hot favourite to clinch Americas GP victory, but a poor start saw the Spaniard way down the pack and the rest of the grid sensed an opportunity. Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™), Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) and more took the gloves off and went at it in a memorable encounter.
JEREZ'S HEAVYWEIGHT DUEL
After they collided in Portimao, it was bound to happen again sooner or later and it sure did in Jerez. An iconic venue, a frenzied crowd, the old King on home soil, the new King behind enemy lines. It was one that'll live long in the memory.
LE MANS' TRIPLE THREAT
A record crowd were treated to the top three in the world leaving everything out there, with more than just points at stake. Martin, Marc Marquez and Bagnaia serving up a treat for what we hope isn't the final time this year.
