It was the final opportunity for the MotoGP™ field to prepare themselves for an unpredictable qualifying at the Monster Energy British Grand Prix. Leading the field at the end of the 30 minute session was Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), who was straight on the pace – setting a 1:59.039. The #89 ended the session ahead of reigning World Champion, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) in second position. It was a fast pace from the Italian ending Free Practice 2 0.068s adrift from Martin and just 0.001s ahead of Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing), who took third place.

Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) took fourth place honours as he showed impressive pace at Silverstone, finishing in front of Ducati Lenovo Team’s Enea Bastianini. The Beast was ahead of Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) in sixth and Franco Morbidelli (Prima Pramac Racing) in seventh. Meanwhile, Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) is continuing to look strong at the British GP, ending the session in eighth.
Further back, Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) took the final spots inside a packed top 10. The #31 would run through the gravel in the early stages of the session and has a tough task ahead as he is forced to battle in Q1 later on.
