Bagger World Cup welcomes Max Toth for Silverstone

The young American joins Saddlemen Race Development for Round 4 to replace the injured Cory West

Max Toth will make his FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup debut at Silverstone for Round 4, coming in as an injury replacement for Cory West after West suffered a crash at the recent MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers round at Mid-Ohio.

Toth has progressed through the MotoAmerica ranks and already has experience aboard the Saddlemen Harley-Davidson Road Glide. He made his Mission King of the Baggers debut with the team at Ridge Motorsports Park, where he substituted for Saddlemen's regular riders while they were competing in the Mugello round of the Bagger World Cup. Silverstone will mark his first appearance in the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup.

He won’t be the only new face on the grid in the UK either, with MotoGP podium finisher Bradley Smith also taking to the Baggers grid on his home turf at Silverstone in a much-anticipated wildcard with the ParkinGO team.

Toth and Smith make it an 11-rider grid at Silverstone as the Baggers return to action for Round 4.

David Eckert – Team Owner, Saddlemen Race Development: "Cory's crash at Mid-Ohio was a difficult moment for everyone in our team, and we're thankful the outcome wasn't more serious. Everyone at Saddlemen Race Development is wishing Cory a full and speedy recovery, and we'll be behind him every step of the way as he works towards returning to the track. As Cory focuses on his recovery, we're pleased to have Max Toth stepping in once again. He proved himself to be a valuable addition to the team earlier this season, and we have complete confidence that he'll do a great job for us at Silverstone. Until Cory is ready to return, we'll be racing for him."

Max Toth:"Firstly, I'd like to wish Cory the smoothest and quickest recovery following his crash. To have the opportunity to join the MotoGP paddock in the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup is monumental for me and for all the people supporting me in my corner. I want to thank everybody at Saddlemen for trusting me and bringing me into their project, and I look forward to giving 110% at Silverstone and hitting the ground running!"
