Leopard Racing appeal sanctions, appeals denied

The team formally appealed the penalties given by the FIM MotoGP™ Stewards Panel on Friday

On Friday at the Grand Prix of Hungary, the FIM MotoGP Stewards disqualified Leopard Racing rider Adrian Fernandez from the first six Grands Prix of the season in two cases, the first pertaining to the Thai, Brazilian, US and Spanish GPs, and the second to the French and Catalan GPs. The Leopard Racing team appealed the sanctions, with the appeal lodged properly and heard by the FIM Appeal Stewards.

According to the appeal document(s), the FIM Appeal Stewards upheld the judgements of the FIM MotoGP Stewards and denied the appeals.

The Leopard Racing team now has the right to appeal the decision(s) of the FIM Appeal Stewards to the International Court of Appeal (CAI) before the competent Tribunal of the Canton of Vaud.
