Red Bull KTM Tech3 confirmed that Maverick Viñales wouldn’t take part in the rest of the Liqui Moly Grand Prix of Germany after the #12 crashed in MotoGP Q2.
Viñales suffered a dislocated left shoulder, put back in place, but then headed to local hospital for more checks where a small fracture was also confirmed. On Sunday morning, the team then confirmed he will miss the Czech GP too, so he'll have this week and summer break to get back to fuller fitness.
That compounds a run of bad luck for the team as Enea Bastianini was also out of action at the Sachsenring following a diagnosis of appendicitis before arriving in Germany. The ‘Beast’ is on the mend without surgery so seems likely to be back in action next time out.
