Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team) secured MotoE pole position at Balaton Park thanks to a 1:45.600 in Q2, a time good enough to fend off the challenge of Lorenzo Baldassarri (Dynavolt Intact GP) by just under two tenths. Eric Granado makes it two LCR E-Team bikes on the front row for the second week running after the Brazilian bagged P3 with a lap 0.272s away from his teammate's effort.
Hungary's home hero, Tibor Erik Varga (Rivacold Snipers Team MotoE), secured his best MotoE qualifying position in P4 to delight the Balaton faithful, as we saw reigning World Champion Hector Garzo (Dynavolt Intact GP) and World Championship leader Andrea Mantovani (KLINT Forward Factory Team) fail to make it out of Q1. That means some big names are coming from deep on the grid in both Race 1 (12:10) and Race 2 (16:10), so make sure you tune in!
