Aprilia confirm successful collarbone surgery for Martin

The Noale factory give a positive post-surgery update and confirm Martin won’t be replaced in Indonesia

Aprilia Racing have confirmed successful surgery for Jorge Martin. Following a crash in the Tissot Sprint at Motegi, Martin suffered a broken right collarbone and returned to Spain on Sunday to undergo surgery for the reduction and fixation of the fracture. The surgery was carried out successfully on Tuesday morning at the Hospital Universitari Dexeus by the medical team led by Dr Xavier Mir.

Aprilia say recovery time will be assessed in the coming days and confirm Martín will not be replaced for the Indonesian GP.
