Ogura to sit out Indonesian GP

The Japanese rider will remain sidelined this weekend to continue his recovery

Ai Ogura (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) will not race this weekend at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, with the Japanese rider remaining on the sidelines to continue his recovery from a hand injury sustained in Misano.

Ogura did travel to Japan for his home Grand Prix last weekend, taking P9 in the Tissot Sprint, but then withdrew from the event before the Grand Prix race.

Trackhouse said his participation in Lombok would be assessed closer to the weekend and have now confirmed he won’t ride, focusing on rest and recovery to return at 100%.
