Global music icon Daddy Yankee to headline MotoGP Awards in Valencia

MotoGP has confirmed that global music icon Daddy Yankee will headline the MotoGP Awards ceremony in Valencia on Sunday

Fresh off the success of his latest track, “Sonríele,” which recently topped the Billboard Latin Airplay chart in the USA, Daddy Yankee is set to deliver a show-stopping performance live following the awards presentation at Circuit Ricardo Tormo — the first time the annual end-of-season celebration will be held trackside.

Before the FIM MotoGP World Champions and top performers of the 2025 season are honored, DJ Nano will kick off the festivities with a pre-event set starting at 16:00, ahead of the ceremony, which begins at 18:30. Daddy Yankee will then take the stage to close out the celebration.

This landmark appearance from Daddy Yankee will be delivered in partnership with Smax Entertainment, who will be supporting MotoGP by bringing world-class talent to the biggest weekends in the calendar.

Kelly Brittain, Managing Director of Global Marketing at MotoGP: “This year’s awards are about celebrating the sport in a way that reflects its global energy and passion. Partnering with Smax Entertainment and bringing artists like Daddy Yankee to the stage is a statement of intent- we want to create unforgettable experiences for fans and showcase MotoGP as more than racing, but a cultural phenomenon.”

2025 has already broken the MotoGP season attendance record and the sport has welcomed nine record crowds and the Valencia GP, where the Awards will take place, is already sold out.

More than 1,500 of those lucky fans will also attend the Awards in person, witnessing history as Marc Marquez collects his seventh MotoGP World Championship trophy after achieving the greatest sporting comeback in history. That’s alongside the stars of tomorrow in the champions of Moto2 and Moto3, and other leading riders from the record-breaking 2025 MotoGP season.
