The 2025 MotoGP™ season concluded yesterday with more than 200,000 spectators enjoying the weekend’s action as Aprilia Racing’s Marco Bezzecchi took victory in the final race of the season.
More than 200,000 fans attended across the finale, pushing overall attendance for the season past 3.6 million – a new benchmark for the sport. The increase to 22 events, the introduction of the Tissot Sprint in 2023, and expanded fan activations have driven unprecedented demand, ensuring more fans than ever experienced MotoGP live in 2025.
In addition to the huge crowd at Valencia, MotoGP events set record attendance numbers at nine different circuits this season, underlining the sport’s accelerating global appeal and deepening fan engagement.
A further two-thousand fans attended the MotoGP Awards, where Marc Márquez lifted his MotoGP World Championship title, adding another historic moment to a landmark weekend after 2025 saw him create the greatest sporting comeback in history.
Carmelo Ezpeleta, Chief Executive Officer at MotoGP: "This season has been extraordinary for MotoGP, with record-breaking crowds and unforgettable racing. Passing 3.6 million attending fans is a milestone that reflects how MotoGP continues to grow globally while staying true to its roots.
"Valencia was the perfect finale - a year after devastating floods forced us to cancel, our fans turned up in huge numbers each day to show the strength of this community."
MotoGP will begin testing for the 2026 season tomorrow on Tuesday, November 18, in Valencia, just two days after the season finale. This is the traditional post-season test where riders and teams start rolling out next year’s bikes. This year the sport welcomes new riders to the MotoGP class in the form of Brazilian rookie Diogo Moreira, fresh from winning the Moto2™ Championship, and Turkish superstar Toprak Razgatlioglu, three-time WorldSBK champion.
