Sky Sport remains the home of MotoGP™ in Italy until 2027 inclusive

Fans in Italy can continue to enjoy immersive coverage of the most exciting sport on Earth

Sky and MotoGP have announced a new multi-year agreement, confirming Sky Sport as the home of MotoGP in Italy until 2027 inclusive.

Sky and NOW will continue to broadcast all MotoGP™, Moto2™, and Moto3™ Grand Prix races live, with a number of races in the three classes also to be broadcast free-to-air on TV8.

The reference channel will be Sky Sport MotoGP, which has been providing fans with top quality broadcasts of the sport for over a decade – with approximately 30 hours of live coverage each weekend dedicated to track action, in-depth analysis and original content.

From the beginning of the new year, with the Shakedown Test and the first official MotoGP Test scheduled to start in late January in Sepang, channel 208 will continue to offer complete and high-quality editorial coverage thanks to the Sky Sport team and their world-class technology that takes fans to the heart of the action.

Andrea Duilio, CEO of Sky Italia: "We are proud to announce this new agreement with Dorna and to continue bringing the adrenaline of two wheels into the homes of fans, with the excellence of our sports editorial coverage and the most advanced technologies. For 11 years, the World Championship has been a staple of our sports channel's extensive motorsports offering, and it will continue to be so until the end of 2027. This confirms how important MotoGP and all the World Championship classes are to Sky, which will continue to guarantee the best possible watching experience."

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports: "Sky Sport is a fantastic partner for MotoGP. In 2025, MotoGP enjoyed increases in global average audiences, significant growth in its global fanbase, and nine record crowds – nearly half the season. We’re aiming even higher as we look forward. Partners like Sky Sport, who showcase the best of the sport and take fans to the heart of the action, play a key role in the future. We’re very happy to see the most exciting sport on Earth continue on Sky Sport for another two seasons."

Real-time news, interviews and tv columns are also live on Sky Sport 24, and online on the skysport.it website and App, and on Sky Sport's official social media accounts.

MotoGP returns to action in January and February for pre-season testing and the 2026 season launch in Kuala Lumpur. The season opener then gets the racing underway at Chang International Circuit in Thailand from February 27th to March 1st – make sure to tune in!
