Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Brazil: title sponsorship announced as MotoGP returns to Brazil

After more than two decades, MotoGP returns to a key market – with the Official Beer of MotoGP as title sponsor

Estrella Galicia 0,0 will be the title sponsor for the Grand Prix of Brazil as MotoGP returns to the country in 2026. Round 2 of the upcoming season, to be held at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna from the 20th to the 22nd of March, will be officially named the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Brazil.

A new season for the partnership between MotoGP and Estrella Galicia 0,0 sees the official beer of MotoGP add title sponsorship for the sport’s return to Brazil in addition to its presence as title sponsor of the Grand Prix of Spain, held in Jerez in May.

Brazil is MotoGP’s pitstop in Latin America this season as MotoGP returns to a key market for the first time in over two decades – guaranteed to be an incredible show for the fans flocking to the event, with initial capacity already sold out.

“Our company is strongly linked to a market with a solid brewing tradition and culture, such as Brazil, where we have a long-standing presence thanks to our firm and longstanding commitment to the country through our own subsidiary,” explains Ignacio Rivera, Executive Chairman of Corporación Hijos de Rivera.

“Becoming the main sponsor of the Brazilian Grand Prix represents a milestone in our long history in MotoGP, a competition in which we not only participate as the official beer, but in which we have been fully involved in developing the talent of the riders and teams. Brazil is a key country in our international expansion strategy, and we are happy to contribute value and participate so actively in the return of the World Championship after 20 years, and especially with a local rider like Diogo Moreira, a product of our talent development program.”, continues Rivera.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP, adds: “It’s fantastic news for us to welcome Estrella Galicia 0,0 as title sponsor for the Brazilian Grand Prix. Estrella Galicia 0,0 are the official beer partner of the championship and one of our most committed partners when it comes to both riders and fans – backing incredible talent and putting on a fantastic show. Brazil already sold out its initial capacity and this title sponsorship from Estrella Galicia 0,0 is sure to prove an incredible asset as we return to the country for the first time in more than two decades.”

Moreira, a long-term Estrella Galicia 0,0 rider and rookie this year debuting with Pro Honda LCR, will take centre stage in Goiânia as the home hero – after taking Brazil’s first ever Grand Prix World Championship as he claimed the Moto2™ crown in 2025.

Estrella Galicia 0,0-supported riders enjoyed incredible success last season. Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) made the greatest comeback in sporting history as he took his seventh MotoGP crown, and Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) made it a historic 1-2 in the riders’ championship. Moreira won the title in Moto2, and Jose Antonio Rueda lifted the crown in Moto3™. Each of these riders have enjoyed support from Estrella Galicia 0,0 for more than a decade.

These initiatives are part of a long-term project for Estrella Galicia 0,0, the non-alcoholic beer from Hijos de Rivera, reaching MotoGP fans worldwide thanks to its presence as the Official Beer of MotoGP™.

Tune in for the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Brazil from the 20th to the 22nd of March, with fans in Brazil able to watch on ESPN 4 and Band.
