TIME SCHEDULE: Monster Energy Grand Prix of Catalunya

The second chapter of this thrilling double header has arrived, here’s your guide to all the track action at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya!

Less than seven days after the conclusion of the French GP, we are ready to do it all again – this time at the Monster Energy Grand Prix of Catalunya! We’re expecting another weekend of wall-to-wall entertainment at over 200mph. Just one point separates the World Championship leaders, with everything to play for as the sixth chapter of the season is ready to begin. From Thursday’s Media Day stories to Sunday’s blockbuster, check out the schedule this weekend!

THURSDAY: HEAR THE LATEST ANSWERS

It wouldn’t be a race weekend without MotoGP GearUp kicking things off on Thursday afternoon as Jack Appleyard and Louis Suddaby bring you up to speed from 15:30 Local Time (UTC +2). Then it’s straight over to Thursday’s Press Conference, where you can hear from Championship leader, Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing), recent French GP winner Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing and last year’s Catalan GP winner, Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP)!

FRIDAY: TRACK ACTION GETS UNDERWAY

All talking stops on Friday as Moto3 heads out for FP1 at 09:00, swiftly followed by Moto2 at 09:50 before the MotoGP stars enjoy their first 45 minutes of action with FP1 at 10:45. After a short break, Moto3 return for an important Practice session, deciding direct entry to Q2 at 13:15. Moto2 Practice begins at 14:05 before MotoGP rounds off an incredible day of action at 15:00.

SATURDAY: QUALIFYING AND A SPRINT SHOWDOWN

We’re up bright and early on Saturday morning as Moto3 roars back into action at 08:40 for FP2 ahead of Moto2’s turn at 09:25. The premier class is next up, enjoying their FP2 at 10:10 before an important qualifying gets underway from 10:50. Once the MotoGP grid is decided, we’ll enjoy a short break ahead of Moto3 qualifying at 12:45 and Moto2 qualifying at 13:40. Saturday will be wrapped up with racing action as we go lights out in the Tissot Sprint at 15:00!

SUNDAY: ELBOWS OUT IN BARCELONA!

Sunday starts with MotoGP Warm Up, offering the first glimpse of the day’s action before we go racing. First up, Moto3 takes to the track at 11:00 for an 18-lap scrap, before it’s Moto2’s turn at 12:15, with the intermediate class preparing to do battle across 21 laps. Then comes the main event as MotoGP goes lights out for the Catalan GP at 14:00. The action doesn’t stop after the chequered flag falls, with analysis in After the Flag from 15:15 ahead of the post-GP Press Conference.
