TIME SCHEDULE: Brembo Grand Prix of Italy

As MotoGP heads to Mugello for Round 7 of the season, check out your guide to this weekend’s schedule!

MotoGP heads to Tuscany for Round 7 of the season, where we go racing for the Brembo Grand Prix of Italy! It’s set to be another unpredictable weekend as Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) arrives as Championship leader – holding a 15-point cushion. It’s a busy schedule too, with plenty to talk about on Thursday before we get set for Sunday’s GP showdown, and that’s not to forget the addition of the Bagger World Cup. Now, without further ado, check out the schedule for the Italian GP!

THURSDAY: MEDIA DAY GETS UNDERWAY

Name a better way to start your weekend than MotoGP GearUp – you can’t! We kick off Media Day at 15:30 Local Time (UTC +2) as Jack Appleyard and Louis Suddaby give you the latest insight into the biggest stories from the paddock. Then we head over to Thursday’s Press Conference, where you can hear from Italian trio, Marco Bezzecchi, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) ahead of the weekend.

FRIDAY: THE SOUND OF MOTOGP TAKES OVER MUGELLO

Friday’s Grand Prix action begins with Moto3 Free Practice 1 as the lightweight class gets underway from 09:00 ahead of Moto2 at 09:50. The premier classes then takes to track for their opening session of their weekend at 10:45. After a short lunch break it’s an important Practice session for Moto3 at 13:15 before it’s Moto2’s turn at 14:05. Finally, MotoGP’s hour-long Practice begins at 15:00, with the field fighting for direct entry into Q2.

The Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup will also feature on Friday’s schedule, with FP1 at 08:25 before FP2 at 12:40 – eventually rounding out the day at 17:05 with qualifying!

SATURDAY: BLOCKBUSTER SCHEDULE IN STORE

It’s a very busy Saturday for the paddock, starting at 08:40 as Moto3 lead the way with Free Practice 2 before Moto2 at 09:25. Then it’s time for MotoGP’s FP2 session at 10:10 ahead of their qualifying session – setting the grid from 10:50. After a short break, Moto3 qualifying gets underway at 12:45 before the Moto2 field fight for pole from 13:40. Then at 15:00 the MotoGP stars go lights out for a highly anticipated Tissot Sprint.

The Sprint won’t be the only racing action either, with the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup Race 1 at 12:10 and Race 2 at 16:10.

SUNDAY: THE ITALIAN GP! 

MotoGP Warm Up gives us our first taste of track action on Sunday morning, going green at 09:40. Then we get into our racing action as the Moto3 grid do battle across 17 laps of Mugello at 11:00. After that, we head onto the intermediate class for 19 laps of Moto2 action before we build towards the premier class. MotoGP will get the Italian GP underway at its usual 14:00 time slot, ahead of 23 laps of drama. Then it’s over to After the Flag for plenty of analysis before you can hear from the top three in the post-GP Press Conference.
