From today until the 26th of July, riders from across Asia and Oceania can apply to join one of the most important pathways on the Road to MotoGP.
The Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup gives young riders the opportunity to compete on equal machinery and showcase their talent alongside the biggest motorcycle racing events in the world. Every rider races aboard the Honda NSF250R Moto4 machine, ensuring success is earned through talent, determination, and hard work.
The world stage is waiting. Recent graduates continue to prove what is possible. Ai Ogura has become the first Moto4 Asia Cup graduate to claim a MotoGP pole position and has already celebrated two MotoGP podiums after winning the 2024 Moto2 World Championship. Senna Agius is now a multiple Moto2 race winner, while in Moto3, Veda Pratama claimed a podium in just his second Grand Prix and Hakim Danish has gone one step further, becoming a Moto3 Grand Prix winner in his rookie season. Danish also became the first Malaysian rider to win a Moto3 Grand Prix since 2016.

Registration is now open at Home - Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup and runs until the 26th of July 2026.
Once your application is submitted, every rider profile will be reviewed by an expert panel. The most promising applicants will be invited to the Selection Event at Sepang International Kart Circuit on the 27th and 28th of October 2026.
There, riders will be evaluated both on and off the bike, and the most promising talents will be selected to take the next step on the Road to MotoGP.
Important information
There’s no need for prior experience in circuit racing. Dirt track, MiniGP, motocross, or scooter competition are all welcome. What matters most is talent, potential, and the determination to improve.
Applicants must be born between the 1st of January 2006 and the 1st of February 2013.
The list of those chosen to attend the Selection Event will be published on the 25th of August 2026.
