Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed that multiple MotoGP winner Alex Marquez will join the team in a multi-year agreement starting from 2027. The 2025 MotoGP championship runner-up brings his talent and knowledge into the third phase of the Red Bull KTM MotoGP story and for the new technical era.The Spaniard won titles in Moto3 and Moto2 on his way to MotoGP, and celebrated his first GP podium appearance and win with a KTM RC4 in Moto3 back in 2013. Moving to MotoGP for 2020, Alex Marquez took rookie podiums and has since become a multiple MotoGP winner, taking to the top step in Jerez, Catalunya and Malaysia last season on his way to runner up in the Championship. He won again in Jerez in 2026.
The #73 is renowned for his speed and maturity as well as his achievements: attributes that will assist Red Bull KTM in the development of the RC16 for the 850cc formula from 2027.
