Following medical checks on Thursday at the circuit, Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) has been passed fit to ride at the Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Great Britain after sustaining a broken left collarbone at the Sachsenring, which saw the former 2026 World Championship leader miss the Tissot Sprint and Grand Prix in Germany.
The Italian underwent successful surgery shortly after the big Q2 crash at the German Grand Prix, and Bezzecchi has since been back on track at Misano to test his fitness ahead of the MotoGP season getting back up and running at Silverstone – the scene of the #72’s debut win with the Noale factory in 2025.
Bezzecchi enters the British GP in fourth place overall, 22 points adrift of teammate Jorge Martin in the enthralling title race.
