Iannone bags the double in Aragon

The Italian took the first double of the World Cup whilst Archie McDonald retains the leads after double podiums

Race 1 of the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup at MotorLand saw Andrea Iannone (Niti Racing) take his second win of the season, launching from the middle of the front row. The Italian exchanged positions at the front with teammate Oscar Gutierrez who eventually finished second by a 0.246s margin, with Archie McDonald (Joe Rascal Racing) rounding out the podium to retain his Bagger World Cup lead.

In Race 2 of the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup at MotorLand Aragon, the Italian did it again to take the first ever double in the history of the cup. Andrea Iannone lead the race from start to finish, crossing the line 0.623s faster than Eric Granado (Joe Rascal Racing) who bounced back from a Race 1 crash to take second, ahead of Archie McDonald in P3.

With that, McDonald leads the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup standings, with just 11 points separating Gutierrez and Granado in the top 3.

The Baggers will be out next for the grand finale at The Red Bull Ring on 19 and 20 of September, where they'll race alongside the World Championship at the Grand Prix of Austria.
