Coming to Misano? Add an extra date to your diaries as some of the biggest stars in MotoGP head for Rimini on Wednesday the 9th of September – just ahead of the Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera. FIBA and MotoGP have joined forces to stage a unique 3x3 basketball exhibition, with Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing), Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) all ready to dunk.
The FIBA 3x3 MotoGP Showcase will take place in Piazzale Kennedy in Rimini, with music and entertainment welcoming fans from 17:30 to 19:30 local time. Once the action gets underway, it’s a dunk exhibition first followed by the main event – a 3x3 basketball game uniting the MotoGP riders with FIBA 3x3 players. And entry is FREE for all!

The MotoGP riders will step onto the half-court for the exhibition alongside players and personalities from the world of 3x3 basketball. As we said up top, confirmed MotoGP participants include 2026 MotoGP title challenger Marco Bezzecchi, race winner Franco Morbidelli and two-time MotoGP World Champion Francesco Bagnaia.
Morbidelli will lead his team against a squad featuring Bezzecchi as team manager and Bagnaia. Other confirmed players include 3x3 basketball player Giorgio Di Bonaventura, ex-Argentina Internation Footballer Esteban Cambiasso, content creator and YouTuber Luca Campolunghi, fellow content creator Ale Della Giusta, 3X3 player Westher Molteni and dunker Mattia Meneghini.
