Having been out of action during the Austrian, Japanese, Indonesian and Australian Grands Prix, 2020 World Champion Joan Mir (Honda HRC Castrol) will be back in the saddle for our penultimate flyaway in 2026. The Spaniard had been out due to illness and retired from action at Misano but will get back to the track in Malaysia where he hopes to be competitive as he was in 2025, where he took a podium – his most recent to date.
