Luca Marini withdraws from Qatar GP

The Honda HRC Castrol rider will miss the Sunday Grand Prix at Lusail due to fatigue

After Warm Up at the Lusail International Circuit, Luca Marini and the Honda HRC Castrol team announced they have elected to withdraw from the Qatar GP due to his ongoing state of fatigue, and to focus on the final two rounds of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship.

The Italian rider, who qualified 14th on the grid and finished 13th in Saturday’s Sprint at Lusail, completed four full laps of Sunday morning’s Warm Up in Qatar.

We wish Marini and his team all the best and hope to see them back racing in Portimao on November 20th.
