Born in Sant’Omero, Italy, Lorenzo Petrarca spent his early years racing in Italy before heading to Spain to compete in the CEV series. His first year came in 2014, running on a FTR Honda and scoring no points. Alongside his handful of races in Spain, he also made his international debut in Misano where he raced from 31st to 25th. But in 2015 the young Italian was able to score points in all but two races. On three occasions he finished seventh and in Jerez landed a front row start while running for the TMR-Competicion squad. For 2016 he united with 3570 Team Italia on the new Mahindra MGP30.
