Born and raised within a stone´s throw of the Sachsenring circuit, Steve Jenkner has gradually matured into one of the 125 category´s most consistent riders. He took his first podium finishes in 2001 with 3rd place at Assen and Brno. The following year he climbed five times on the rostrum and secured fifth overall. In 2003, he couldn't mount a serious title charge and finished sixth overall despite a win in Assen and two second places in Jerez and Valencia. Last year he took 8th overall in his last 125 campaign, and will now compete in the 250cc class with the Nocable.It Race Team.
