Louis Rossi became the third rider to ride for the FFM Honda GP 125 team in the World Championship after Mike di Meglio and Alexis Masbou, when he competed for them in 2008. A year away from the World Championship in 2009 was followed by a return in 2010 with the CBC Corse team, and he scored his first championship points. In 2011 he continued his development with the Matteoni Racing team, before joining Racing Team Germany for the Moto3™ World Championship in 2012. There he rose to fame by taking victory at his home track in Le Mans in the wet, following which he struggled to replicate that feat. 2013 saw Rossi step up to Moto2™ with the Tech3 Racing team, but a year of struggles resulted in just two points finishes. For 2014, he switched to SAG Team and in 2015 he represents Tasca Racing Scuderia Moto2 on a Tech 3 bike.
