The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports have announced the cancellation of the 2021 Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix.
The round of the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup set to take place at the Malaysian GP has therefore also been cancelled, as well as the round set to take place at Sepang International Circuit the following weekend.
This also obliges the cancellation of the 2022 ATC Selection Event, which was set to take place at Sepang during the week between the two ATC rounds in Malaysia. The riders who will join the 2022 grid will be selected based on their application form.
A revised provisional 2021 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup calendar will be published in the coming weeks.
