Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport) led most of morning Warm Up at Misano, before Friday's fastest Takaaki Nakagami (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia) hit back. Jonas Folger (Intact Dynavolt GP) was third fastest, with his teammate Sandro Cortese competing the top five behind Paginas Amarillas HP 40 rider Alex Rins.
Alex Marquez (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS) beat title contender Sam Lowes (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) to P6, with front row qualifier Lorenzo Baldassarri (Forward Racing), Silverstone winner Tom Luthi (Garage Plus Interwetten) and Marcel Schrotter (AGR Team) completing the top ten.
