La Vuelta pays tribute to Angel Nieto

As reported by www.sport.es, La Vuelta a España has paid homage to late 12 +1-time World Champion Angel Nieto in stage 16 of the event on Tuesday.

As well as a memorial at the start, the 40km stage, which began at the Circuito de Navarra and ended in Logroño, featured a special marker at the 13th kilometer – displayed as Nieto’s famous “12+1” above the route.
