Martin sets the pace in Moto3™ FP1

The Spaniard led the way in the morning session from Kornfeil and Migno

Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) was the fastest man in this morning’s FP1 session at the HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France. Martin led Jakub Kornfeil (Redox PrustelGP) by 0.165 seconds, with Andrea Migno (Angel Nieto Team Moto3) getting his weekend off to a good start in P3.

Di Giannantonio (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) lost the front at Turn 2 early in the session, rider ok, but he took no further part in the session. Lorenzo Dalla Porta (CIP – Green Power), Darryn Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Livio Loi (Reale Avintia Academy) were all fallers at Turn 3 – riders ok.

Ayumu Sasaki (Petronas Sprinta Racing) had a big high side at the final corner late in the session, the Japanese rider headed for the Medical Centre and was declared fit.
