Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PruestelGP) got his Saturday at the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragon off to the perfect start as he went fastest in Moto3™ FP3, setting a 1:57.961 to be the only rider to drop below the 1:58 bracket so far this weekend.

Compatriot Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing) was second fastest on Saturday morning, 0.287 back, with Niccolo Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) making it an all-Italian front three on Spanish soil heading into qualifying after he propelled himself from P20 to P3 on his last lap. Fourth was John McPhee (CIP – Green Power), 0.466 back from Bezzecchi, with Misano winner Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing) the only other rider inside the top ten to improve on his Friday time – 0.659 back in fifth.
