Espargaro to miss Aragon GP race day through injury

Spaniard sustained a left wrist fracture in an FP4 crash on Saturday

Having made a very positive start to the Gran Premio Michelin® de Aragon, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Pol Espargaro will have to miss Sunday's race after sustaining a left wrist fracture in Free Practice 4.

The incident happened on the exit of Turn 9 as the Spaniard was violently spat over the top of his RC16. A trip to the medical centre and further scans showed the extent of the injury, with Espargaro now pledging to be back on track at the Thai GP on 4-6 October.
