Rossi and Bagnaia compete in All Stars Racing Night

Hosted by F1’s Charles Leclerc, international sports stars went head-to-head at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli

Wednesday the 6th of May was an unprecedented evening on Sky Sport Italia. Riders and drivers on two and four wheels came together, alongside other international sport stars – FC Barcelona’s Antoine Greizmann and Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois to name two – competed in GT car race around the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.  

Race 1 saw Charles Leclerc, Ferrari F1 driver, take victory with Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) crossing the line in fifth having started P19. Mattia Pasini managed to take P7 in the opening race with Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Racing) finishing P13.

Due to his dinner being ready Rossi didn’t see the finish line in Race 2, but compatriot Pasini produced another great drive to finish in P8, with Ducati’s Bagnaia finishing P18 ahead of Alfa Romeo F1 driver Antonio Giovinazzi.

The main purpose of the evening was to entertain fans and to see, for the first time ever, champions of different sports compete in the same discipline with thanks to esports.
