Martin back on top in Aragon Warm Up

The Spaniard returned to the top spot on Sunday morning, finishing ahead of Miller and Augusto Fernandez

MotoGP™ returned to action on Sunday morning for Warm Up at the Gran Premio GoPro de Aragon, with tricky conditions to start the day after overnight rain. Taking top honours was Martin after the Spaniard set a late 2:02.388, claiming a 0.192s advantage. The #89 will start the Aragon GP from P4 on the grid and was ahead of Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) in Warm Up, with the Aussie stealing second position on his final flying lap. Meanwhile, Augusto Fernandez (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) had a confidence-boosting session, taking third spot.

Ducati Lenovo Team’s Enea Bastianini and Francesco Bagnaia rounded out the top five spots, with Bagnaia aiming for a better start to the Grand Prix on Sunday. Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) spent the session in the pit box, completing one out lap throughout the session. With no times set, it was the first session this weekend which the #93 did not top.
