The Gran Premio GoPro de Aragon cemented its place in the history books after a dramatic Sunday, with Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) crossing the line to end a 1043-day wait for a win on Sunday. The #93 was unstoppable, crossing the line to take victory by 4.789s from Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), who claimed another second position. The Spaniard took another 20 points, while Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) added to his podium tally – securing the final place on the rostrum. Meanwhile, it was a crucial day for the Championship, with Martin extending his lead to 23 points after Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) collided in the closing stages.
