Luca Marini withdraws from San Marino GP

Having been diagnosed on Sunday morning with a virus, the Repsol Honda rider will also miss the Misano race with teammate Joan Mir ill

Luca Marini has withdrawn from the San Marino GP, citing illness as the reason. According to a statement made by Repsol Honda on social media, the Italian has been diagnosed with a virus by MotoGP™ Medical Director Dr Angel Charte. It marks a disappointing few days for the team, with Joan Mir also absent due to illness.

We wish both riders a speedy recovery and hope to see them back in action sooner, rather than later.
