The 11th stop of the MotoGP season is upon us, with the Sachsenring ready for more following a dramatic trip to Assen. Make sure you don’t miss a beat this weekend, beginning with Thursday’s Media Day and ending with 30 laps of MotoGP action on Sunday. As we arrive at a venue which has hosted countless final corner moves, have a look at the full schedule at the Liqui Moly Grand Prix of Germany!
THURSDAY: get up to speed in Germany
Your Sachsenring weekend begins with an important Media Day, where Jack Appleyard and Louis Suddaby bring you up to date with the latest stories from the paddock! MotoGP GearUp begins at 15:30 Local Time (UTC +2) before we head over to the Pre-Event Press Conference as Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing), Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team), Ai Ogura (Superfile Trackhouse MotoGP Team) and Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) answer the latest questions from the world’s media!
FRIDAY: track action gets underway
We’ve got a busy weekend of track action in store too, beginning on Friday with Moto3 FP1 at 09:00. Moto2 is straight afterwards at 09:50, before the premier class gets ready for MotoGP FP1 at 10:45. Following a short break for some lunch, Moto3 return to the spotlight for an important afternoon Practice at 13:15. Moto2 are next for Practice at 14:05 before MotoGP wrap up Friday’s Grand Prix action at 15:00 – deciding the direct Q2 spots!
SATURDAY: super Sprint Saturday
Onto a bumper Saturday, where Moto3 kick off proceedings at 08:40 before we turn our attention to the intermediate category at 09:25. MotoGP’s first action of the day comes at 10:10, when the riders will enjoy FP2 before they battle for pole position from 10:50 in qualifying. Later in the day, Moto3 qualifying starts at 12:45 before Moto2 sets the grid from 13:40. Finally, the MotoGP Tissot Sprint rounds out a brilliant day of action as we go lights out at 15:00!
SUNDAY: lights out at the Sachsenring!
Sunday’s action gets underway with MotoGP Warm Up at 09:40, setting the tone for an exciting day of racing. Moto3 will be the first racing action of Sunday at 11:00 as they go lights out for 23 laps ahead of Moto2’s 25-lap battle at 12:15. After that, it’s time for the main event as we go lights out for 30 laps at the German GP! The action doesn’t stop either, with After the Flag giving you all the analysis and insights ahead of the post-GP Press Conference at 15:50!
