Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) made history at the Liqui Moly Grand Prix of Germany, notching up his 10th MotoGP Sachsenring win on Sunday. The #93 became just the second rider in premier-class history to clinch 10 wins at a single circuit after another unbelievable Sachsenring performance. He joins MotoGP Hall of Famer Giacomo Agostini as the only riders to win 10 races at a single circuit following the Italian’s incredible record at the Imatra circuit.

The #93 continues to earn his place among the greats – also holding an impressive record at other circuits. Alongside his Sachsenring success, Marc Marquez has won seven races at both the Circuit Of The Americas and MotorLand Aragon. Whilst also continuing to climb up the all-time winners’ list.
The milestone moment caps off another flawless weekend in Germany. The reigning MotoGP World Champion qualified in pole position, later converting it into Tissot Sprint gold despite late pressure. On Sunday, Marc Marquez remained unstoppable, pulling nearly two seconds clear of SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team duo Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez at the chequered flag.
The Sachsenring has created countless memorable moments and wins for Marc Marquez over the years. His first premier-class Sachsenring victory arrived in 2013, marking just his second win of his rookie campaign. Three years later, Marc Marquez produced a standout performance, winning by 9.857s following a dramatic flag-to-flag showing. In 2021, the #93 took an emotional victory, fighting with injury and earning his first of three wins that season. Marc would have to wait until 2025 for his next win at the Sachsenring before going back-to-back this year!
Speaking after the German GP, Marc Marquez discussed his thoughts and feelings after a special ride: "10 victories at one circuit in MotoGP is something amazing, I'm super happy. Honestly speaking, I'm not 100% happy as I would have liked to see Alex also here on the podium, as I saw the way he worked after the Montmelo race, it was amazing. I didn't expect it from him, I knew he was a worker, but it was more than I expected, and he was riding in a very good way.
"In our garage, we worked very well and found the way to get the maximum from this weekend."
With 10 Sachsenring victories now to his name and continuing to climb up the all-time winners’ list, Marc Marquez has added yet another milestone to his collection. Attention now turns to Silverstone after the summer break. Make sure you don’t miss a moment!
