Raul Fernandez (SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP team) put in a superhuman ride at the Indonesian GP to take a podium despite having fractured fingers, but the #25 was then forced to withdraw from the Australian GP as his recovery continues.
Arriving in Sepang for the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia, Fernandez got the ok to take part in FP1 and headed out in the session. However, in a review thereafter he was declared officially unfit and is now sidelined from the event, instead focusing on making a full recovery.
